Director of Technical Education and Apprenticeships
36 hours per week, 52 weeks per year
£49,016 - £52,883 per annum
The Director of Technical Education and Apprenticeships will have overall responsibility for Apprenticeships (that do not include a Degree or Foundation Degree), FE Technical education, including the growth of T Levels, Pre T (Transition phase) and Higher Technical Qualifications, leading and managing a team of staff to achieve strategic and operational objectives.
This person will be an exceptional professional, who works collaboratively with all colleagues, students and stakeholders, promoting teamwork and professionalism in all that they do. By working in this way and fully utilising all resources available, they will support the development, planning, delivery and monitoring of a highly effective curriculum. Teams will provide excellent Apprentice and Student experiences, ensuring that very best practice, teaching, learning and assessment is evident routinely. Apprentices, students, staff, teams and external stakeholders will be supported and challenged by the exemplary, inclusive leadership, of the Director of Technical Education and Apprenticeships.
